a compact yet powerful foldable electric bicycle designed for long-distance urban commuting. With an emphasis on durability, performance, and portability, the Fiido L3 combines a high-capacity battery with a sturdy frame to deliver a reliable riding experience.
Starting with the core structure, the L3 features a 14-inch aluminum alloy folding frame, providing both strength and convenience. This foldable design makes it especially suitable for urban environments where space is limited, such as apartments or public transport systems. The fork is crafted from high-carbon steel and comes with a 100mm opening width, enhancing stability and shock absorption.
Weighing in at 52.91 lbs (24 kg), the Fiido L3 maintains a manageable weight despite its large battery. It can comfortably support a payload of up to 264.55 lbs (120 kg), accommodating a wide range of riders and cargo.
At the heart of the bike lies the DMEGC 1113.6Wh / 23.2Ah battery, one of the most impressive features of the L3. This high-capacity lithium-ion battery enables an exceptionally long riding range—ideal for riders who need extended travel on a single charge. Paired with a 48V 3A charger, the battery is optimized for relatively fast and efficient recharging.
The bike is powered by an integrated wheel brushless geared motor, delivering smooth acceleration and reduced maintenance. It also boasts a torque of 40 Nm, offering sufficient pulling power for moderate inclines and heavier loads.
Riders can monitor speed and battery status through a 1.47-inch LCD display, complemented by an HD color display that ensures clear visibility in various lighting conditions. The cruise controller allows for easy speed management over longer distances, minimizing rider fatigue.
For added convenience, a throttle function is included, offering speeds up to 6 km/h—ideal for walking mode or gentle maneuvering in tight spaces.
The drivetrain comprises a KMC S1 chain, an aluminum alloy 52T crank, and single-speed 16T rear cogs, providing a simple yet effective gear setup with minimal maintenance requirements. While the bike does not include a multi-gear system, its electric motor compensates with reliable assistance across urban terrains.
In terms of safety, the L3 is fitted with mechanical disc brakes that include a power cut-off feature for instant motor disengagement when braking. Aluminum alloy three-finger brake levers enhance control and comfort, and a 12-magnet speed sensor ensures accurate pedal-assist levels for a responsive ride.
The bike rolls on CST 14x1.95 tires, which are suitable for urban streets and light off-road conditions. The aluminum alloy integrated front hub ensures a smooth rolling experience and contributes to the overall lightness of the bike’s front end.
Comfort is further enhanced with thoughtful ergonomic touches. The VELO vacuum full-fit saddle is designed for long-duration rides, while TPR non-slip handle grips (about 130mm in length) offer a secure and comfortable hold. The handlebar, made of aluminum alloy, measures 560mm in length with varying diameters (Max Ø: 25.4mm, Min Ø: 22.2mm), making it adaptable to a range of accessories or rider preferences.
The aluminum alloy clamp head seatpost measures 400mm in length with a diameter of 33.9mm, providing good height adjustability. The bike’s IP54 waterproof rating ensures protection against light rain and dust, making it a dependable option for daily commuting in diverse weather conditions.
